The magnificent Charleston Harbor lies in between the city of Charleston, Mt. Pleasant, Sullivan's Island, and James Island in South Carolina. Because of its central location, visitors can see many of the main Charleston attractions just touring the harbor itself.
Fort Sumter, Fort Moultrie, and Fort Johnson bring visitors back through time to the Revolutionary War and the American Civil War. The Battery and the Battery Carriage House line the harbor, demonstrating the lavish elegance of old Charleston.
