Charleston Harbor Tours offers harbor tours geared towards understanding the history and development of Charleston's beautiful harbor. Come aboard the beautiful, Carolina Belle and enjoy your time on the harbor in luxury.
The following are our tour offerings for the
2012 season.
Harbor of History Tour:
The "Harbor of History" tour is a favorite of locals and visitors alike. Experience the splendor of one of America's most beautiful harbors and take in the 300+ years of history that have made Charleston what she is today. You cruise 20 miles of scenic harbor as our US Coast Guard certified captain narrates, covering 75 points of interest such as Ft. Sumter, where the first shots of the civil war were fired, Ft. Johnson, Ft. Moultrie, the USS Yorktown, the Battery and White Point Gardens, the lighthouses at Morris and Sullivan's Islands and of course the Arthur Ravenel, Jr. Bridge. The Carolina Belle has an enclosed and climate controlled Main Salon to protect you from the elements and an open observation deck to enjoy the breezes and sunshine. Harbor Tours leave daily at 11:30, 1:30 and 3:30 Mid-February through November. 2012 rates are $19.00 for adults and $14.00 for children 4-11, children under 4 are free. 2012 group rates are $17.00 for adults and $12.50 for Children 4-11 for parties of 20 or more.
Harbor of History / Boone Hall Plantation Combination Tour:
This combination tour includes the "Harbor of History" tour and admission to Boone Hall Plantation. In 1743, the son of Major John Boone planted live oak trees, arranging them in two evenly spaced rows. This spectacular approach to his home symbolizes southern heritage and will take root in your memory for many years to come. It would take two centuries for the massive, moss-draped branches to meet overhead, forming today's natural corridor and a scene that NBC Daytime television says is "a must see stop on any trip to Charleston, S.C." Come experience one America's oldest working plantations and the site of many feature films and television shows. Your combination ticket will include all of the offerings available at Boone Hall Plantation, which include the Gullah theater, plantation tram tour, the plantation house tour, the garden tour, the slave street cabin exhibits, and new for 2011, the Black History in America exhibit. You can spend an hour or a day at Boone Hall, but rest assured you will leave with fond memories and a desire to return again and again. Tours can be taken on the same day or split into separate days for your convenience. 2012 rates are $34.00 for adults and $21.00 for children 4-11, children under 4 are free. 2012 group rates are $32.00 for adults and $19.00 for children 4-11 for parties of 20 or more.
Harbor of History / Palmetto Carriage Works Combination Tour:
This combination tour includes the "Harbor of History" Tour as well as a ticket for a 1 hour horse drawn carriage tour of the city provide by Palmetto Carriage Works. Palmetto is the oldest operating and most reputable carriage company in the city. Let their experienced guides take you on a journey back in time as you wind through the charming streets of Charleston. During the one-hour tour you will be experiencing 25 – 30 blocks of Charleston's historic downtown district. You will see houses, gardens, mansions, churches, and parks. You will hear about buildings, history, architecture, flora and people. Most importantly you will become one with all that Charleston has to offer the visitor. Tours can be taken on the same day or split into separate days for your convenience. 2012 rates are $35.50 for adults and $24.00 for children 4-11, children under 4 are free. The 2012 group rates are $33.50 for adults and $22.00 for children 4-11 for parties of 20 or more.

Experience the best of Charleston by land and by sea. All tours do not have to be taken on the same day. You may combine tours and take each whenever is convenient for your group. Group rates are available for parties of 20 or more. 2012 rates for the triple combination are $52.00 for adults and $32.00 for children 4-11, children under 4 are free. 2012 group rates are $50.00 for adults and $30.00 for children for parties of 20 or more.
We also offer a snack bar aboard The Carolina Belle and with advance reservations we can have gourmet boxed lunches delivered to the boat for your group. New for 2012, is the "Over and Under the Sea" tour package. You will enjoy the 1 ½ hour harbor tour and receive admission to the South Carolina Aquarium to enjoy the fantastic exhibits and educational experiences they have to offer. See all the aquatic life in the Carolina's from the Great Ocean Tank to the Piedmont River displays. This great combination package is $35.00 for adults and $24.00 for children. Group rates for parties of 20 or more are $34.00 for adults and $23.00 for children. We can also combine this ticket with the Aquarium's brand new 4D theater experience! Call for pricing.
